2000: three years post graduate degree in Applied Genetics at the University of Bologna, Italy. Dissertation title: “Structure of the intermediates in the Rad51-mediated reaction”. The research has been conducted in the laboratory of Prof. N. Cozzarelli in the Molecular and Cellular Biology Department at the University of Berkeley, California. Advisors: Prof. D. Palenzona and Prof. Nick Cozzarelli.
